If you have ever bought a digital camera, or are intending on buying one then you must have browsed over the shelves of your local electronics stores. There is a huge range of digital cameras available, but you have most probably noticed that there are a few brands that come up again and again. One of those brands are Fuji digital cameras.

Fuji has a strong reputation for producing some of the best cameras on the market, for many years now. There is a lot of brand recognition for this Japanese camera manufacturer. If you haven’t ever bought, or for that matter, looked at a Fuji camera then we’ll give you a few pointers to put you in the right direction to choosing a Fuji digital camera.

Fuji Digital Camera Overview

There a wide range of Fuji digital cameras available. So many, that we won’t go into depth on each camera. There are however many things that are the same amongst a particular section of their cameras. The range goes all the way from the entry level cameras with more consumer oriented features, all the way up to the professional cameras with every little feature you could imagine, and some you couldn’t imagine.

Basic functions are easy to learn with Fuji digital cameras. All the cameras from the bottom to top of the range can be operated with only the most basic of camera know-how. This makes them very accessible, and for those who are just starting out, and want to learn more about professional photography, you can still get some shots taken, while you learn as much as you can along the way. Zooms are a standard feature, and will allow you to get up close and personal, but if you really want a high zoom, you will have to purchase one of the separate lenses that you can choose from.

Starting from a few hundred dollars you can get the basic model camera. This will have a zoom, a display to show the picture you have taken, and limited features for configuring the camera, like forcing the flash, or forcing it to stay off. You can also go back and view the pictures you have taken, using the LCD screen on the back. The top of the range cameras have all of these, but they are a lot more configurable, being able to change the aperture and shutter speed.

If you’re not sure, remember that the quality of even the most basic digital camera will probably meet the needs of someone wanting to take pictures of their vacation or their friends.
